倒金字塔管理法(Inverted Pyramid law)
The SAS Upside Down (Pyramid Pyramid) was first proposed by Jan Carlson, President of Swedens Nordic airlines.
Brief introduction to the management law of inverted Pyramid
At the end of the 70s, the oil crisis caused a slump in the worlds aviation industry. Swedens Scandinavian Airlines were no exception. The company lost $20 million a year, and the company was on the verge of bankruptcy. At this critical moment, a young and energetic young man, Carlsson, was sent to the crisis and served as president of Nordic airlines. After Carlsson took over, new management was adopted, and a year later, Northern Airlines made a profit of $54 million. This is a miracle in Europe and America to be widely spread.
When Carlsson arrived at Scandinavian Airlines, the company was in a slump and people panicked and employees did not know where the company would go. Carlsson spent 3 months, after carefully studying the companys situation, announced to all employees that he wanted to implement a new management approach. He gave it the name Pyramid Upside Down, which we call inverted Pyramid management law, or inverted triangle management.
