Methods data of malaria control over 50 years in Yunnan province were collected. The geographical data, human and social data of Yunnan province were collected. Results the malaria geographic information system of Yunnan province was established to find out the natural foci of malaria in Yunnan Province, and to provide scientific basis for malaria control in Yunnan province. Conclusion the system can well show the natural foci of malaria in Yunnan province and provide a scientific prevention and control plan for the prevention and control of malaria.
