But the most application limit at two types of land use change. The authors use the BP algorithm of the neural network and GIS technique, in thefoun- dation of the T M classification result, extract many factors from these images by GIS, set up a ANN model by which we can simulate land use change. Also, the probability used as function of many rules in CA model. Finally the L CC of Yutian oasis is simulated. The result manifests that this method can be used in complex land use change simulation and can gives some useful information in sustainable land use programming.
