ABSTRACT: The breaking capacity is the key performance index of the low voltage circuit breaker. For circuit breakers using fluid
media (for example, air) as arc-extinguishing dielectrics, the air-blast process affects the arc movement to a great extent, and
consequently becomes one of the most important physical processes in the interruption process of the circuit breaker. Due to the
complexity of the air-blast arc extinguishing process, there are still many problems unsolved in the field of its mathematic
