( Departmentof Radiology, Xinqiao Hospital,Third Military Medical University, Chongqing 400037,China) Abstract:Objective To explore the value of MRI in the comprehensive evaluation of the spinal injury.methodes 50 patients with spinal injuries were analyzed and summarized.Results For all patients, Cervical vertebral fracture, Cervical thoracic vertebral compound fracture，thoratic vertebral fracture,lumbar vertebral fracture and thoracolumbar vertebral compound fracture were,respectively 15,6,11,15 and 3. 54 vertebral body and appendix fractures were found at in X-ray plain film.59 vertebral body fractures and 6 appendix fractures were found in CT, vertebral dislocations and spinal stenosises were found in 18 patients use CT. While, 61 vertebral body fractures, 103 vertebral body and appendix contusion were found use MRI, and also,20 Spinal cord injuries(2 of them combined with Spinal fractures) ,5 epidural hematomas and 11 traumatic disc herniations were checked out at the same time in MRI.there were 7 vertebral artery injuries(3 spasms and 4 occlusions)in the patients of cervical spine injury.Conclusion MRI could comprehensive evaluate the spinal injury,and it have significant Guiding Significance in establishing treatment programs and predicting the prognosis of patients with spinal injury. Key words:spine;injury;magnetic resonance imaging;diagnosis 不同原因和程度的急、慢性损伤导致的脊柱病变在现代医学中十分常见。在诊断和治疗中如处理及时和合理，病人能够有效地得到治疗和康复，如对损伤的情况判断不全面，就有 可能延误治疗或遗留后遗症，降低病人的生活质量，加重家庭和社会的负担。影像学在脊柱损伤的诊断中起着举足轻重的作用，如运用得当、合理和全面，就有可能对病情做出全面的诊断和判断，对临床全面治疗、康复计划制定和预后的判断提供有效和充足的依据。在临床工作中，对典型的脊柱损伤容易判断，对不典型的、隐匿的脊柱的损伤和由损伤造成的继发性改变，如缺乏有效的临床经验和可靠的检查手段，容易造成漏诊和误诊，对病情不能做出全面的判断，造成病人治疗的耽误和医疗纠纷。随着MRI在临床的广泛应用，对脊柱隐匿性损伤和其他合并伤的检出率明显提高。故我们收集我院近9年来经过临床保守治疗或手术的典型病例50例的影像学资料，对MRI在脊柱损伤中的诊断价值进行分析和
