Interdisciplinary research has become an important research orientation in the field of Social Sciences for nearly ten years, and this has been recognized both at home and abroad. As far as educational research is concerned, interdisciplinary research is considered to be one of the most important conditions for educational research. Because of the multidimensional and complex nature of the whole education phenomenon, interdisciplinary research is not an optional condition, but an essential condition. In terms of domestic academics, in the nature of the research on interdisciplinary education issues, many scholars believe that interdisciplinary research is equivalent to multidisciplinary research, they are using different methods of discipline, interdisciplinary and the same educational phenomena or problems from multiple perspectives. In fact, in view of the domestic research on cross disciplinary education misunderstanding, this paper focus on the following issues: the theoretical basis of interdisciplinary education; the essence of interdisciplinary education (from interdisciplinary research and interdisciplin
