It projects the scenarios on the basis that the passenger travel demand is the function of population and income. Basically, it uses the Long Range Energy Alternatives Planning System software to develop Business as Usual scenario and the five alternative scenarios. The alternative scenarios are 100% replacement of vehicles catering to mass- transit in the concerned routes, 50% replacement, 25% replacement, stopping future growth of other vehicles catering to mass-transit i
