Abstract: Managerial concept of the integrity of oil and gas pipeline, its flow chart were interpreted.
Risk evaluation and integrity assessment of its core technology were proposed. Since the wide
applications of high grade pipeline steel as well as the old pipe extended service, many problems and
challenges were brought to risk assessment and integrity evaluation technology, So, Many techniques
were researched or re-examined including pipeline risk evaluation, forecasting critical buckling strain
limit, high-grade steel pipeline failure assessment figure, dispersion-type damage integrity assessment,
fracture mechanics model of weld complex defect, reinforcement and repair technique of pipeline with
defects, and systems of pipeline risk evaluation and integrity assessment were established, the pipeline
integrity management techniques were further improved.
