A. the better one B. the best one C. a better one D. a good one I have never read a better article. 我从未读过（比这篇文章）更好的文章 …最好的文章 I have never seen a worse film. 我从没看过（比这部电影）更糟的电影 =…最糟的电影 注意：有时根据不同语法结构的需要，也可能没有不定冠词。如： No news could be more delightful to me. 这消息最令我高兴。 I have never drunk better beer. 我从来没喝过这么好的啤酒。 比较级和最高级表示否定意义 1．know better than+不定式。这种结构意为“不至于”： She knows better than to go alone on such night. 在这样的夜晚，她不至于连不宜单独外出也不知道。 know better than to do sth.的含义是be wiser,better informed,or more sensible than to do or believe sth. 以此类推，下列三句有类似意义，如： I am wiser than to believe that． 我不至于蠢到竟然相信这件事。  You have a better command of French than to make such mistakes． 你的法语较好，不至于犯这样的错误。 He is more experienced than to do such a thing． 他比较有经验，不至于做这样的事。 2．more than…can。这种句型形式上是肯定，实际上有否定含义，如： The boys in the street have become very insolent and it is more than flesh and blood can bear． 街上的男孩变得非常无礼, 到了人所不能忍受的地步。 The beauty of the place is more than I can describe． 那地方美得无法形容。 This is more than I can tell/understand． 这我简直不懂。 He has bitten off more than he can chew． 他承担了力所不及的事。 3. the last, the least表示否定意义 He would be the last man to say such things． 他决不会说这样的话。 This is the last place where I expected to meet you． 我万万没有想到会在这儿碰上你。 That was the least of his worries． 那可是他最不担心的事情。 词组里含的比较级： 1. more and more与 the more…, the more…：前者表示“越来越……”，后者表示“越……，越……”。如： The earlier, the better. 2. more than ： (指数量)多于、不只是 less than： 少于、比……少 I’ve known him for more than 10 years. 我已认识他10多年了。 He is more than a father to her. 他待她胜过父亲。 3. more …than： 比…多，比…更 less…than： 比……少，不如…… He has more books than me. 他的书比我多。 He is more careful than the others. 他比其他人更仔细。 注：两者均可表示“与其……不如”，但词序不同。如： He is less a teacher than an expert. He is more an expert than a teacher. He is not so much a teacher as an expert. 与其说他是老师，不如说他是专家。 4. “no+比较级+than”结构：相当于as…as如 no better than = a
