Through lectures, quizzes, and a final exam, students will learn about the major events that shaped Western Canada. Mark Breakdown - Attendance 10% - Quiz 1 20% - Quiz 2 20% - Final Exam 50% Total: 100% EVALUATION Attendance 10% Quizzes 1 2 40% (20% for each quiz) The quizzes will take place at the start of class. Quizzes will be based on material covered in the lectures. Quiz 1 covers classes 1 and 2; while Quiz 2 covers classes 3 and 4. EVALUATION Final Exam 50% The last class of the semester will be used for the final exam. The exam will focus on material from classes 5, 6, 7, but may include some material from classes 1 – 4.
