摘 要 随着Internet/Intranet的快速发展，数据库技术的进一步成熟，建立能业务化工作的学生学籍管理系统是当前高校管理部门的迫切要求。文章参考了目前国内高校学生管理的发展情况及管理模式，借鉴了目前国内先进的大型管理系统，对高校学生学籍管理进行了总体设计，建设“基于Web的”运行平台，实现方便快捷的前端Web登录和查询，采用了Visual FoxPro 2000作为后台数据库，采用ASP及ADO技术对数据库进行操作及维护。 首先，论文讨论了Web数据库的发展历程，讨论结果是：浏览器/服务器模式中的客户机使用的是统一的浏览器界面格式，便于操作，简单易行，有利于提高工作效率，易实现不同网络间的连接。因此学生学籍管理系统采用的就是浏览器/服务器模式。 再者，论文讨论了访问Web数据库的五种方法，通过比较五种方法的优缺点，得出的结论是：用ASP技术访问学生成绩数据库具有易实现、功能强大、效率高等优点。 最后，论文提出了用ASP和ADO技术相结合来实现学生成绩数据库的访问，得出的结论是：用ASP+ADO访问服务器端的数据库的实质就是利用ADO对象访问数据源。 基于B/S结构的学生学籍管理系统（以下简称SSMS）就是利用ASP技术和Web数据库相结合实现的，它具有数据输入、查询修改、补考处理、毕业处理和报表输出等功能。它的成功实现对提高高校的学生管理水平具有非常重要的意义。应用表明：学生学籍管理系统用户界面友好，操作灵活方便，可大大提高工作效率，基本实现“无纸化办公”。 关键词：Web数据库 ASP ADO 学生学籍管理系统 Abstract With the development of Internet/Intranet and the maturity of database techniques, It is of vital importance to establish student information management systems (SIMS). By taking into consideration of the current status of SIMS in higher educational institutions in China, this thesis builds an overall design framework of SIMS, which creates a ‘web-based’ platform. Through the front-end of this web system, one can readily login and search for any information of interest in the database. On the other hand, Visual FoxPro 2000 is used as a background database, where ASP and APO techniques can be utilised for database operation and maintenance. In this thesis, the development of the web-based database is firstly discussed. An interesting finding is highlighted: at the client-side, the browser interface has the same format in both browser and server modes. This brings the ease and convenience in operation, improves the efficiency of a variety of works, as well as realizes the inter-connection of different types of networks. For this reason, this browser/server mode is adopted in the design of SIMS. Furthermore, five kinds of methods of accessing the web-based database are discussed and compared.
