The res lts show that the co pling method takes as approximately seven times comp tation time as the look p table method whereas the look p table method has a general agreement with the observed val es in acc racy as the co pling one does. It is s ggested that the look p table method s cceeds in dealing with gasphase chemical process for SO reactions and is very promising in sim lation of long x range transport of SO poll tants and regionalscaleforecast of air q ality. x Keywords: s lf r oxides; look p table method; E lerian transport model [ 1] , . .
