I’m PengQin.I come from YingXi Vocational Middle School. Today my teaching material is the first period of Unit 8 Why don’t you get her a scarf? Book 2 Go For It. Now,let me talk about my teaching planning. 一:Analyse the teaching materials Part 1: Analyse the teaching materials and my students. This lesson is the first period of this Unit. In this lesson, students are expected to compare qualities and give advice. Junior students in Grade two are good at English, and they learn English quite well. So I’ll arrange some interesting activities for them. Such kind of design may attract students’ interests and it can stimulate their learning motivation. And it’s not difficult for them to learn. Part 2: Teaching aims Knowledge objects : To enable students to use the new sentence structure?Why don’t you do something?”揥hy not do sth?o” “How about…?敁What aboutt…?” Ability objects: To train students listening,speaking,reading skills and train students communication competence. Moral objects: Through giving his\her father for Father’s Day, students can know how to care for others and understand their parents. Culture objects: Through discussing what gifts should get, students can learn about some cultures and customs of giving gifts. Part 3: Teaching key points and difficulties: Students can use the sentence structure T: What should I get my father? S1: Why don’t you get her a scarf? S2: Why not get a camera? S3: How/What about a watch/buying a watch? Part 4: Teaching aids: Multimedia, blackboard. 二:Analyse the ways of teaching Task-based language teaching, communicative approach. 三:Teaching procedures Step 1: Greeting Step 2: Warming up I want to show some flowers to the students and ask them some questions.
