It utilizes an exclu sive Z – source network (LC comp onent) to link the m ain inverter circuit to the p ower source (rectifier) . By controlling the shoot-through duty cycle, the inverter system u sing IGB T S, provide ride- through cap ab ility durin g v oltage sags, reduces the line harm onics, improves p ower factor , increases reliab ility and extends output voltage range. A dv an ced and Computation-inten sive Sp ace vector Pulse W idth M odulation (SV PW M ) Z-source inverter b ased approach is prop osed in this p ap er . SV PW M allow s the op eration of inverter in Over m odu lation region . P ossib ly, it is the b est among all the PW M techniques for variab le sp eed app lication s.
