Level 2 - Mainbore trunk is cased and cemented with the lateral either barefoot or with slotted liner dropped off in open hole. Both bores are cemented at the junction. Level 5 - Pressure integrity junction. Straddle packers or integral mechanical casing seal. Cement alone is NOT an acceptable means of obtaining long term hydraulic integrity. Level 6 - Pressure integrity junction achieved with casing.
