It has taken various measures to strengthen the more connections. Public signs, which are an important unit of communication, have been attracted considerable attention. By this dissertation, the author aims at drawing more attention on signs and making our country more open and modern. To the exclusion of its introduction part and conclusion part, this dissertation consists of three chapters and starts with a thorough analysis of public signs. The author classifies the commonly seen errors into two main categories: one on the linguistic level is due to the translators’ irresponsible attitudes and poor mastery of English.
