Mother teresa was famous for her unselfish help to the homeless and the poorest of the poor in Calcutta.she devoted the majority of her life to the charity.The devotion towards the poor won her respect throughout the world and the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. Mother Teresas life In 1979 Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace, and in 1985 she was awarded the Medal of Freedom from the United States calcutta Calcutta is the biggest city as well as the biggest port in India. It is the center of Indias economy, transportation, and culture. It covers an area of about 1300 square kilometers. Calcutta has only been built for several hundred years .But its ancient India civilization and monuments have attracted a lot of visitors from all over the world.
