Materials needed for commissioning: • Ag/AgCl reference electrode • Rittal key • Standard electrician toolbox 1. Manual potential measurements (millivolts) on the outside hull, using an Ag/AgCl reference electrode. Use the following measuring points MP1 until MP3. Check anode and reference cell connections inside the cofferdams - untighten the cofferdam lid - check if the inside of the cofferdam is dry - check if the cable glands are installed - check the cable connections to the anodes - check the cable connections to the reference cells • positive cable to the reference cell connection pin • negative cable to the bolt inside the cofferdam • cable shielding is NOT connected 3.
