《Unit 10 What color is it?》第六课教案 1.Uncle Booky’s storytime Student Book page 49 Tell the children to open their books at page 49. Draw their attention to the pictures. Explain that these pictures tell a story about a butterfly reading a book with her mother. Ask questions about the pictures. Have the children talk about the story and what they think each character is saying. Say, “Now we are going to listen to what the characters say.” Play the tape. Tell the children to listen to the story, pointing to the matching pictures. Tell the children to look at each speech bubble. Ask them to find out the words they know. Encourage them to guess the meanings of unfamiliar words. Play the tape of the whole story again. This time have the children touch the speaking character. 2.Color game Use this game to review the names of colors introduced in this unit (red, blue, green, pink, purple, gray, yellow, orange, brown, white and black). Explain to the children that you will call out the English names of different colors. After you call out each name, they must find something of that color in the classroom and touch it. (They may need to move around to do this.) 3.Snap! This game reviews the vocabulary and letters introduced in Units 7 through 10. It is best played in pairs. Ask children to take out their small flashcards for Unit 7 to Unit 10. See Unit 1, page 24, for the rules and procedure. 4.Self-assessment Student Book page 49 In activity 1, tell the children to check the box if they can say the color of the picture. Point to the picture of tomatoes. Ask, “What color are they?” Elicit the correct answer from the children and have them check the box next to the picture. Put the children into pairs and finish the other pictures. Draw the children’s attention to the questions on the left in activity 2. Point to the picture of the car and read the question. Then elicit the correct answer from the children. Tell them to write the word on the line to complete the ans
