Report -------- Investment Investigation report Introduction In this report, I will introduce the each company general condition about I chosen, and how do I gather these information and data, source of information. I will set objectives which is time objectives for collecting the information and data. Finally, I want to summarize simply the world economy trends in recent years. In the past four months, I invested in four companies in FTSE 100. They are Hammerson PLC, Associated British Foods, British Sky Broadcasting and Bhp Billition, which inceptively belongs to industry of building, food, mining and broadcasting. In the recent years, the world economy continued dropping, and leading to the gradual decrease in the stock market Especially in 2007 year, the international crude oil price reached the highest point, the secondary loan crisis broke up in USA, and the British cut interest and so on, which impacted both the world economy and stock market. Time schedule Nov.20 Provided the price earnings, market capitalization, earning per share, dividend per share and divided yield. Nov.30 to Feb.15 During the period, I had colleted the share price of each company weekly and researched the in news related to these companies, which led to better understand of the information about this project. Feb.22to Mar.28 Among this time, I had collected a lot of news and information from the newspaper and television about home and aboard. I had continued to gather the share prices of each company weekly. Meanwhile, I set up my investigation. Mar.30 to Apr.5 I had communications with classmates about each company’s share trends, and I had analyzed the some factors that have impacted on share prices. And I had compared the performance of each company with other company as the same sector. Apr.6 I had draw up the report, and summarized the structure and contents.
