Unit 7 At the Reataurant Lesson 1 1.Are you ready to order ? 你准备好点餐了吗？ （1）ready adj.准备好的 be( get )ready for sth. /to do sth. e.g. He is always ready to help his friends. Are you ready for the dinner ? Let’s get ready to have our English party . The farmers are busy getting ready for the next year . (2) order n.顺序 ,v.点餐 order sb.sth.=order sth. for sb.为某人点某物 e.g.He ordered me an egg.=He ordered an egg for me . 2.Is there anything else ? 还有其他东西吗？ （1）else意为“其他的”在句中做anything的定语，anything else =any other things ,else 做定语时，不能修饰名词，通常修饰不定代词something ,somebody,anything,anybody,nothing , nobody等 e.g. I don’t want anything else . If you don’t like eggs ,I can cook something else . 3.Here are your menus .这是菜单。 这句话是倒装句，当主语是名词时，用全倒装，当主语是代词时，用半倒装。 e.g. Here you are . Here is your ticket . 4.Can I have some more soup ? (1) Can I have some more …?表请求，提出要求“我想多要一些。。。”在这个句子中习惯用some 不用“any” (2) 句中more 是形容词，意为＂另外的，更多的＂置于名词前。 e.g. I want more eggs . (3)more表示超过的，额外的，置于数词或any ,some ,no , a few ,a little many much 等后面。 e.g. I’ll take three more . We need a few more chairs . You should eat some more vegetables . I have no money with me . (4) more 也是many ,much 的比较级，意为更多的. e.g. I have spent more time in reading than watching TV. Lesson 2 1. He was listenig to music while he was doing his homework .他写作业的时候听音乐。 While conj.当。。。时候，主句与从句的谓语动词或状态同时进行或主句动作发生时，从句动作正在进行，另外从句常使用省略句。 e.g. He watched TV while (he was ) eating . 2.Who is the woman in the white dress ? 穿白衣服的女人是谁？ In 表示 “穿着”， in+衣服（或颜色）表示穿衣服的状态相当于 wearing e.g. He is in black dress . The woman in white is a nurse . 3.I need to wash my hands .我需要洗洗手。 Need v.需要，必要, need sth./to do sth./doing sth.=to be done e.g. Do you need any help ？ e.g. What do you need to take on holiday ? Your shirt is dirty ,it needs washing \to be washed . Model v.用于疑问，否定句 e.g. Need I do the work now ? Yes ,you must ./No,you needn’t. 3.While we were there , an interesting thing happened.当我们在那的时候，一件有趣的事情发生了。 (1) 句中while是连词，意为“当。。。时候”，引导时间状语从句，从句中的谓语动词必须是延续性的。
