List some emergency and ask the students to answer what to do in that situation. Step2. Pre-reading I will bring out a lighter and pretend to burn my hand. Ask the students to brainstorm some first aid treatment for burns to help me. Then let the students to check their answers in the passage. Step3. Fast reading Ask the students to skim the passage quickly. Then divide the passage into several parts. The purpose is to let them get the general meaning of the passage.
