How can we deal with journalistic translation smoothly and exactly? First of all, we must know about the characteristics of news and prevent two extremes in translation. Accuracy and reality are the main traits of journalistic translation. As translators we should comprehend original text seriously and make sense of the responsibility of our own. Meanwhile, we should realize some defects and try our best to keep us from them. Moreover, it is useful for us to grasp some cultural background, because culture is connected with news translation closely including policy, economy and daily life and so on.
