正方一辩陈词 Gifted children are supposed to be the ones who excel in thinking, remembering, observing and etc.And We believed that gifted children should be educated separately. 1 Firstly, we believed that seperated education offers gifted children a chance to get more challenging tasks. We all know Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development theroy. It indicates that everyone has the possibility of further development and we need to push children to achieve their possible development. How could gifted children achieve their proximal development learning something they already know? If we don’t give gifted children seperated education, we deprive them of chance to proximal development.(TAO Q: Can I interpret what you just said in this way: normal children don’t need challenging tasks? They should just some content within their reach ?A: No, I don’t mean to say that. Normal children also need challenging tasks to get further development. When we say some material is Chanllenging, we say it is challenging for some body. For example, addition is something challenging for the first grade, but it is not ecessary to learn for the forth grade. ) We have examples to illustrate this.
