But the technological inventions make life better and more enjoyable. An electric boiler or a microwave oven makes cooking much faster and easier. A fully automatic washing machine drives the tedious laundry work away and people keep themselves very well informed by watching TV or surfing the Internet. Net-surfers in different countries can share interesting knowledge and the latest information. And also the Internet has provided a major opportunity to buy and sell merchandise and even stocks, reserve a ticket or a room, or do e-business.
