Aim: Know something about the jobs Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures to the students and play the tape. Let them guess what job it is. Students look at the pictures, listen to the tape and guess the name of the jobs by using the sentences: Is he a doctor? Is she a teacher? Step 2 Free talk There are many jobs in the world. What do you want to be when you grow up? Ss answer the questions by using the sentence: I want to be a teacher. Task 1: Choose a job for your partner according to the mind test.
