Teaching procedure: The first period LESSON PLAN Date : 21th May, 2012 Time : 10:00am – 10:45pm (45 mins) Class : 3A (36 students) Aims: To help students learn how to ask others’ problems and learn some new words about body parts and illness. To encourage students to participate in pair work and group work in order to get familiar with the new words abou human body. Students will be exposed to new vocabulary items and be able to ask others’ problems and express their problems to some extent. This lesson is designed to take an integrated approach to the teaching of vocabulary, speaking and writing. The moral object is to encourage students to exercise regularly and keep strong and healthy. Objectives: Language form and use: By the end of the lesson, students are expected to be able to i) develop a better vocabulary bank, in particular on the names of body parts and illness and how those words are pronounced while some words are requiered to know how to write; and ii) be able to point out the exact body parts. Language Skills: By the end of the lesson, students should be able to know how to ask others’ problems and express some troubles themselves encountered to others to some extent. Anticipated Problems and Possible Solutions: Students may have problems with some of the words in body parts and illness (e.g stomachache etc.) so the teacher will show some pictures about these words.; Students may mix the some words of body parts, so the teacher will have to do
