1. Developing Economy or Protecting the Environment 发展经济还是保护环境 Some people think that the urgent task is to develop economy on a large scale. First, they hold that many people, especially in rural areas, are living in poverty. As a result, many children drop out of school（辍学） and can’t afford even the compulsory education.
