Grade 8(Book2) Module4 Unit2 New technology Teaching Plan I. Teaching aims: Introduce new technologies. Help students to know how to use the video camera on a mobile phone and perate a CD recorder. And give instructions of using a piece of technology. II. Knowledge point: Vocabulary and Phrases: Pres, button, take a video, instruction , copy, memory, record, second, come on, lady, gentleman, borrow……from……, lend……to……,?turn on, turn off, turn up, turn down, send sb sth / send sth to sb  Key sentences: ①Television are under so much pressure to live up to the perfection that is represented on the screen. ②Doctors couldn’t say what was wrong because they didn’t know what kind of snake it was. Grammar: ①理解并会运用“If 条件状语从句,祈使句: 由if引导的条件状语从句表示在某种条件下某事很可能发生.当主句谓语动词以某种形式表示将来时间概念时,条件状语从句中的谓语动词通常要用一般现在时表将来。Eg: If you see him , give him this letter . 其他可以引导条件状语从句的先行词:supposing,provided,but for,… 祈使句的特点: 1). 由动词原形开头; 2).形式上没有主语, 但暗含的主语往往是you; 3). 祈使句的否定句是在句首加上dont. ②.lend 和borrow 的区别: i. lend将某物借给某人 (1)主语+lend+人+物 eg:I lent a friend a pen . (2)主语+lend+物+to+人 eg:I lent money to a friend . ii. borrow 向某人借某物?: 主语+borrow+物+from+人 eg:I borrowed a book from my teacher . ③ other,others的辨析: i. other: 其它的,泛指,other+复数名词,指其他的人或物??? ii. others: 表示泛指,相当于other+复数名词,指其他的人或物/其他的,另外的人或者事,它一般跟some连用。the other表示特指,有限定的范围,与单数名词连用,指两者中的另一个。 III. Teaching method: Top-down approach , listening to the tape and do some exercises/activities and task-based. At the same time, using Interactive approach and Communicate approach. IV. Teaching process: 1.Lead-in Warming up: Good morning boys and girls! Let’s begin our class. Now, please tell me what’s this?(mobile phone).Right! Then, who can tell me the uses of it? To call people, play music, take photos, send messages. Correct! Can you believe that mobile phone can save one’s life? Let’s look at our book,page28 2.
