Graduation Practice Report 1. The purpose of graduation practice According to China’s higher education curriculum, cognition practice, as a part of the complete and systematic teaching, is one of the most important aspects of practical teaching, which enables students to practice, to know the current social requests and requirements for English majors, and to examine and practice our ability of using English in practice. It mainly aims to consolidate and expand students’ basic professional knowledge, to further enhance our basic skills in the use of English, and to learn something about modern science and technology, foreign trade, tour guide, reception and other aspects of foreign affairs. It also aims to exercise and improve our skills in listening and oral English, to help us to get familiar with and master the difference culture between China and Western countries, to learn the affairs of past time, nowadays and future more deeply about the whole world, especially China, and to know all the aspects of English and practice it in the real life. In the process, we put what we have learned into practice in advance so as to adapt ourselves to social life as soon as possible. As a result of interests, I want to learn more about the different culture between China and Western countries .With the above purposes, I fulfilled my internship very carefully and patiently. The introduction to the organization of graduation practice: The Beijing American Center (BAC) is the place for cultural activities, educational resources, and offices which coordinate and support the cultural and educational exchanges between China and the Unite
