Shaanxi is considered one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, and she locate in the very heart of China(中国地图)。 .Xian,the capital of Shannxi Province,is stuated in the fertile Wei RiverValley.One of the few Chinese cities where the ancient city walls can still be seen.（城墙）its well known that Thirteen feudal dynasties established their capitals in Shaanxi province during a span of more than 1,140 years, from the Zhou Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty. （西周、秦、西汉、新、东汉（献帝初）、西晋（愍帝）、前赵、前秦、后秦、西魏、北周、隋、唐等13个王朝，历时长达1140年之久。自公元前1057年至公元904年，西安曾长期是古代中国的政治、经济与文化中心，是中国古代做为都城时间最长的城市。）and China had 231 emperors and one ruling empress,79 of whom were buried in Shaanxi.（武则天） It is for these reasons, Shaanxi has many fascinating monuments, attracting many tourists to visit。 firstly，of course，ill introduce the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses.which is considered the Chinas greatest archeological excavation, Life size terra cotta figures of warriors and horses arranged in battle formations symbolically guard the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang , the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (246-209B.C). The State Council authorized the building of a museum on the site in 1975 for the protection of the discovery. So far, altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed and displayed in the museum.
