The design of 500L glass-lined open reactor
Abstract: This paper introduces the design of 500L glass-lined open reactor. Glass-lined reactor is to line the high-silica glass to the inner surface of the steel container and finally adhesion to the metal surface firmly to be the composite material products after burning at a high temperature. Therefore, glass-lined reactor has the stability of the glass and the intensity of the metal and is good corrosion-resistant equipment in the chemical Engineering. In order to understand the role, working principle, working characteristics and structural composition of the glass-lined equipment, this paper mainly makes the structural design and intensity calculation of the glass-lined reactor, to select and use the components of the equipment (such as motor, reducer, frame, seals, mixers, flange, ear blocks, clamp, cutting valve, etc.) according to the selected type of glass-lined reactor , including: choice of materials, determination of the specific size and specific location, thickness calculation of the cylinder, head, jacket and the reinforcement of the hole and so on and at last the manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of the container. Final design includes three CAD maps, a general plan manual and a design instructions.
