Task 1 参考范文 Sample line charts: The graph below shows the change of CFC emissions in four countries in 1997, 2002 and 2007. Introduction: As is illustrated in the line chart above, it is apparent to see the fluctuation of CFC emissions in four different countries namely Poland, Malaysia, Egypt and Ukraine from 1997 to 2007. Body paragraph: According to the statistics, the main point to note is that the amount of CFC emission in Poland decreased the most dramatically from 5,000 metric tons to about only 200. Although the amount of CFC emission in Malaysia maintained steady at 4,000 metric tons in the former five years, there was a considerable plunge to around 1,500 during the following half decade. Looking at Egypt, it gradually diminished from 3,000 to roughly 2,000 metric tons, which was not very prominent. In comparison, Ukraine was the only country whose CFC emission experienced a slight increase from 2002 despite the fact that it dropped stably by approximately 1,000 metric tons before 2002. Conclusion: To sum up, all the statistics warrants / justifies an unshakable conclusion that the amount of CFC emissions in most of the countries have fallen to some extents except for Ukraine. Sample line chart: (Harry’s Hamburgers) As is illustrated in the line chart above, it is apparent to see the fluctuation / change of Harry’s annual sales of hamburgers in the whole year of 1998. According to the graph, it can be seen that the sales number of Harry’s hamburgers maintained steady at 2,000 in the first two months. Then it started to descend slightly to approximately 1,750 in the following three months. However, another main feature was that there was a dramatic ascend to the peak at 3,000 in August. Afterwards, it was worth mentioning that the sales number witnessed a considerable plunge to the lowest point at only roughly 1,250 during the next two months, followed by a gradual recovery to around 1,750 which was similar to that of May.
