These KPIs were produced by McKinsey. These Key Performance Indicators will be used to benchmark CNPC new listed company against its peers in the industry KPIs will also be used as internal management control to drive corporate performance at all levels The KPIs are developed along the new corporate structure. This structure is shown on the next slide. Currently KPIs for level 3 (Business Segment) have been developed. There is a plan in the near future to develop KPIs for level 5 (Business units). It is also anticipated that KPIs will be developed for lower levels of the corporate (ie operation and suboperation units) Scope of KPI System Initial scope of the KPI system is the input, processing, and reporting of business segment KPIs CNPC intends to develop KPIs to lower levels in the organization. The system must support not only the initial scope but the future development of KPIs which include: Change of KPI definitions Implementation of KPIs at different levels Production of additional reports based on existing data Collection and storing of additional raw data from new sources PetroChina reporting structure List of CNPC New Company Locations by Business Segment System Objectives Collect and store all raw data required for calculation of KPIs Transfer financial data for KPI calculation from FMIS Enter operational data for KPI calculation at the location where the data is produced Calculate defined KPI of P
