* * * Daikin’s inverter compressor is the major contributor to Altherma’s efficiency and comfort. The inverter compressor adapts its rotation speed to exactly match the heat output with the demand. This makes the heat pump run with the highest possible efficiency under all conditions. Inverter compressor controls its speed to perfectly match the heating demand. The temperature difference between condenser and evaporator is minimized. The inverter matches the output of the system with the demand, thus efficiency is increased, the resulting indoor temperatures are extremely stable which guarantees comfort. The efficiency of the system with an inverter compressor is higher because the heat exchangers are overdimensioned in partial load (easier to get heat in and out of the system).
