Welding Grooves’ Forms and Types GXX-XXXXX
Scope
This document defines the code of welding groove, chamfering and different kinds of grooves.
This document can be used for all structural welding joints.
2 Definitions of groove code
2.1 Butt joint
2.2 Fillet joint
3 Chamfering
If two base plates’ thickness are different, they should be constructed as Table 1.

4 Butt joint
When welding different grade materials, choose the easily constructed process.
4.1 Groove types for FCB SAW (See Table 2);
