教学目标:1、学会运用be doing…来安排将来活动。
2、学会使用 wh? 特殊疑问句。
教学重点: What are you doing for vacation?
Where are you going?
When are you going?
Who are you going with?
How long are you staying?
教学难点: be going 结构表将来时态
教学步骤:
一 warming up
(1) Teacher asks students the date and the weather.
(2) Check new words on Page 13—14
二 Presentation
1 T: What’s xxx doing?
Students: He / She is ……..
一名学生做些动作,其他学生猜她或他正在做什么。此活动是为了复习现在进行时。
Students look at Section A 1a picture and discuss “What are they doing?”
Pairwork like this:
A: What is he/she doing? B: He/She is…..
学生两人一组根据课本图片做对话练习。复习进行时为下面学习将来时做铺垫。
2 T: National Day is coming. I’m visiting my grandparents and I’m going to Beijing.
What are you doing for vacation?
教师导入新句型
Practice conversations:
Model one:

两人一组练习
Model two:
A: What are you doing for vacation?

学生四人一组练习
Add: Teach: Is he/she………?

Model three:
A: What are you doing for vacation? /Where are you going on vacation?

逐步增加问的内容,学生两人一组进行对话练习 。本课时的重要句型已全部呈现并进行了练习。
三 Listening (课本Section A 2a and 2b)
(1) Listen. What are Hector, Susan and Molly doing for vacation. Fill in the chart under “what”.
(2) Listen again. Fill in the chart under “When”
四 Sum up
Let students discuss these sentences on the blackboard to find out something important. Future Tense: be + doing
让学生自己来发现以前所学的进行时结构在这儿表示将来。
