Abstract:On the basis of hydrogeological condition of the studied area, the characteristics of chemical composition
of lake w ater, river w ater and groundwater are analyzed.Comparing with the recharge w ater, the main changes
of the composition of Bulong Lake are the marked increase of TDS and the concentration of various species, as
well as the change of water type from HCO ·Cl to Cl ·SO ·HCO .The causes of these changes are the lake

water evaporation, dissolution/precipitation of minerals, and adsorption/desorption of cations.The ion ratio
analysis is used to evaluate the proportion of lake w ater evaporation.The result show s as much as 71.43%w ater
has been evaporated in the lake w hich makes the concentration of species in the lake increase 3.5 times
