At the same time, combined with the current sit- uation of domestic and international content research, the trends in which is also discussed and some suggestions are put forward. This article is supposed to promote the application of this method in information management, and of- fer some constructive suggestions to supplement and consummate the method system of information science. Besides theoretic study, some applying examples are presented. In the last part of the article, an overseas case and a domes- tic case are introduced and compared, which is supposed to make clear the steps in details and compare the differ- ences of theway in which the method is used. This thesis is one of the research contents and fruits of the project of A study on Bibliometrics and Content Analysis.
