This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract Due to the value conflicts and moral belief confusion in the period of social transformation, the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly puts forward the construc- tion of excellent traditional culture inheritance system. Therefore, to explore the relationship between Chinese excellent traditional culture quality and civilization degree becomes the inevita- ble subject to carry forward the excellent traditional culture. According to previous research, the way of liberal arts, etiquette, golden mean, harmony culture, cultural diversity, culture and the culture of filial piety are the outstanding traditional culture; they can be a person’s quality indica- tors to forecast its civilization degree including individual civilization, social civilization and en- vironmental civilization. The results of 2200 random sampling questionnaire survey show: 1) The totality of the excellent traditional culture quality and civilization degree was significantly posi- tively related, namely the higher t
