No. 59 Institut e of China Ordnance Industry , Chongqing 400039, China) Abstract: According t o movement principle of orbital head threedimensional design software UG NX is used to build sim plified models of the inner and outer eccentric sleeves which drive orbital head movement for four trajectories of foreign orbital forming press head. T he orbital head movement is simulated, the equations of orbital head motion are derived, four trajectories from the theoretical aspects are analyzed, the simulation results are verified, t he rules of motion are summarized.
