The New York flagship, also designed by Gabellini Sheppard Associates, was conceived as an urban townhouse on Madison Avenue; in contrast, the 2,700-sf Beverly Hills space is thought of as a studio and workshop, a loft-like environment that generates a casual expansiveness and meandering sense of discovery.Recalling the region’s original Spanish settlements, the storefronts conceptually engage with the idea of the ”corner” as embodied In the Spanish words esquina—an outward, public, dynamic corner—and rincon—an inward, private, sheltered corner. At the Rodeo Drive and Brighton Way intersection, the corner literally turns inside-out, presenting to the street a series of graphically intimate mises-en-scène occupied by floating glass lantern display vitrines. The result is an alluring statement that highlights an environment that is gracious, accessible, and visually layered, one that blurs the boundaries between private and public, between space and city.Urbanistically, the boutique exterior resembles a corTen Steel耐候特种钢 burnished glowing lantern, radiating soft light like a beacon in the streetscape.
