Applied as less frequent reduced-voltage starting for three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor of rated voltages and capacity up to and including 380V and 320kw, the starter minimizes the influence to the transmission network. 2. To start an electric motor with XJA1, the starting current is 3-4 times over the rated and it should be done within 15 seconds. When using it twice in a roll, wait until it cools down to the room temperature, for frequent operation disturbs its performance. Ⅲ Structure 5. XJA1 is designed as a central box structure, consisting mainly of an autotransformer, an AC contactor, a thermal relay, an intermediate relay, a time relay. Those up to 75kw apply automatic control system. Those 85kw and above apply two modes with an auto-man switch and an adjustable time relay, and starting time can be adjusted at between 5 and 15 seconds. There are two models of tapped coils, one with 65% rated voltage as the original default and an 80% one when necessary. Ⅳ Technical Content 6. See Table 1 for technical content.
