Abstract:The Beijing capital international airport T3 is an extension project for Beijing Ol mpic Games in 2008, the length
between north and south is about 3 000 meters, the max width between east and west is about 750 meters.The area of the
entire T3 new airport is approximatel 110 million square meters, and is eivided into four parts T3A,T3B,T3C and GTC.The
main structure of the T3 is the reinforced concrete frame construction, the roof is the space frame structure, and the roof is
supported b the variable cross-section steel pipe column which extends to the building surface or peripheral inclines to
outside.The essential technolog , application characteristic and anal sis of the design and construction method are introduced.
