English, as one of the most popular languages, is playing a more and more significant role in communication. Traditional English class makes students depend on teachers gradually and greatly; their desire and ability of learning are lowered. They can deal with all kinds of written examinations, but can’t communicate freely in English. They are successful in acquiring language system as a separate body of knowledge but fail to learn how to use it. Based on this, I rearranged this class to make our teaching more helpful and useful. This class, through using English to inform themselves with information about festivals around the world, designing, communicating with each other and solving problems, my students will come to the unit with full interest.
