China论文：English learning in China 摘要：english is wildly used today,according to a survey,the population of the whole world is about 6.0 billion people , among that 3.8 million mother tongue is english and 2.5 million peoples second language is english. besides, 12.3 million people learn english, and about 3.36 billion people have the connection with english. indeed, 75%television programs around the world,80%e-mail , 85% of the network, software, and 100% of source code in english. 关键词：china；english learning currently there are about 3 million people in china are learning english, more than the combined populations of britain and the united states, which is chinas efforts to integrate with the times, and an important symbol of international standards, a large number of chinese international language proficiency is necessary for the chinese nation towards prosperity protection. in china, english is far beyond the scope of a subject, a persons career prospects, status, or even destiny are always connected with the level of english proficiency. from this we can know that learning english is so important in china. so it necessary to learn english well. but what is the situation of learning english and what is the problem and significance of learning english in china?the answers of those questions below are according to my own experience. the time i learned english was from junior middle school, but it was just a major subject of the school course, and the contents we learned were very simple, if you studied hard, it is not problem for you to passed the exam. however, it is so difference of english learning in school now. for one thing is that, the age of learning english become younger and younger. some children even start english when they just start opening mouth to speak. most children study english at kindergarten. for another thing is that the content of the learning become more difficult. when i was was in junior middle school, i just learn the 26 letters and some
