College of Automation Science and Electric Engineering, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing 100083) AbstractA DSP-based evaluation environment of image matching arithmetic is established by integrating the DSP technologies and the man-machine interaction technologies, aiming to help related arithmetic researchers and developers to run and test their arithmetic programs on a simulating platform. The function modules of both software and hardware are discussed and separately implemented. The environments adopts a PC-DSP pattern to divide itself into two parts: the DSP-end consists of hardware with performances similar to real equipments, as well as its embedded software for executing arithmetic, while the PC-end serves as both a controller and an observer during the process of DSP by interfacing users with data visualization and graphic manipulating.
