The application and water purification principle of polymeric ferric sulfate are expounded. Catalytic oxidation process for the production of polymeric ferric sulphate is based on catalysts such as sodium nitrite and nitric acid
By the use of air or oxygen, ferrous ion is oxidized to ferric ion, and then polymerized ferric sulfate is obtained by hydrolysis and polymerization. Direct oxidation method to produce polyferric sulfate directly through strong oxidants (such as sodium hypochlorite, sodium chloride and hydrogen peroxide) to oxidation of ferrous iron ion, by hydrolysis and polymerization polymerization iron sulfate. Through the comparative analysis of two kinds of polymeric ferric sulfate production process, process control, production cost and the advantages and disadvantages, the direct oxidation of the production process is simple, fast reaction rate, short production cycle, little environmental pollution, good environmental and economic benefits.
