夯实基础知识　提高英语写作能力——解读年ＮＭＥＴ英语书面表达题 　　NMET20英语试题书面表达部分以表格的形式向考生提供若干条信息，把对公园要不要收门票这一主题的讨论结果列在表中，要求考生以书信的形式，客观地介绍讨论情况。笔者有幸参加今年英语高考试题的阅卷工作，从考生答题的情况看，不太乐观。相当一部分考生由于审题不当，基础知识掌握不牢固，对常见的词、词组及句型不能正确使用，语法知识概念模糊，导致失分较多。与前几年相比，今年的书面表达题的得分率是比较低的。那么，究竟是什么原因导致考生容易失分呢?下面，笔者与各位同仁对该题重新审视，进行回顾。　　最近，你校同学正在参加某英文报组织的一场讨论。讨论的主题是：公园要不要收门票?请你根据下表所提供的信息，给报社写一封信，客观地介绍讨论情况。　注意：1.信的开头已为你写好。　2.词数：100左右。　3.参考词汇：门票entrance fee 60%的同学认为： 40%的同学认为： 1.不应收门票2.公园是公众休闲的地方3.如收票，需建大门、围墙，会影响城市形象 1.应收门票，但票价不宜高2.支付园林工人工资3.购新花木 Dear Editor,　Im writing to tell you about the discussion weve had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks.　　　Li Hua　该题表格中的左右两栏分别为两种不同的观点或看法，根据题中要求，用书信的形式，客观地介绍讨论情况。关于书信的表达，可根据表达需要用不同的时态和语态。由于本题强调客观地介绍讨论情况，因此，文中的时态应以现在时为主，但题中也涉及到不应收门票和应收门票会导致什么样的结果，所以，有些句子应用将来时。同时，两种不同的观点应分别介绍，这样，层次就很分明，要点也很清楚。　首先，可用一句话说明对公园要不要收门票同学们有不同的观点。可这样表达：Students in our school have two different opinions on the question.或Opinions are divided on the question.接下来，可阐述第一种观点，即60%的同学认为不应收门票，可表达为：60% of the students are against the idea of entrance fee.或60% of the student dont agree to the idea of entrance fees．“公园是公众休闲的地方”此句可用两个英文句子表述：They believe a public park should be free of charge. People need a place where they can rest and enjoy themselves．或They insist that a public park should be free of charge for people, a place where they can rest and enjoy themselves is needed.接下去，一般的考生往往只按照表中的要点去写，其实，在这两句之间应根据合理的逻辑，用一个过渡句来表达一下收门票将会造成的后果。如：Charging entrance fee will no doubt keep some people away.再接下去进一步表述一下收门票的后果可用词组what is more或副词moreover来表示递进，此句可表述为：What is more, it will become necessary to build gates and walls, which will do harm to the appearance of a city. 或者，Moreover,to build gates and walls will become necessary and that will be harmful to the appearance of a city.然后写40%的同学的观点，可另作一段来写。此段的开头可用一个过渡词或词组来承上启下。如可用on the other hand或as an opposite point,接下去写40%的同学的观点及其理由。40% think that fees should be charged because you need money to pay gardeners and other workers,and to buy plants a
