To cultivate students optimism and positive outlook on life. 教学重点 Can grasp: I come from…. Come to the front. Go back to your seat. 教学难点 Using the new pattern to solve the problems in real life. 教学准备 Some pictures, cards, a tape recorder and a computer. 教学过程 复备及 Step 1: Warming up
1. Sing “Where are you from?” and “How old are you?” songs.
2. Revise Where are you from? I’m from China. How old are you? I’m ten.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Explain the new words and expressions in English and then give them the Chinese meaning : front, seat.
2.Look at the picture and learn the word “Britain”
3. Show a flash and introduce the text. Ask some questions: What are their names? Where does Bob come from?
4.After watching it, Let the Ss answer these questions.(the T can give them some help.)
Step 3: Drill
1. Listen to the tape and then follow it
2. Give them a few minutes to read it by themselves. If someone has questions, they can ask for help.
3. Check the reading.
Step 4: Consolidation and extension
1. To get a group to the front to act out the dialogue.
2. According to the dialogue, make up a new one and try to act it out in front of the class.
Step 5: Summary and test
Complete the blanks of this text.
Step 6: Homework
1. Remember the new words and sentences.
